BBC Sport presenter Emma Jones revealed she was impersonating herself on dating site X with her glamorous pictures on someone else’s profile.
The 32-year-old expert, who also works with ViaPlay Sports, obtained screenshots of fake catfish profiles being used on the Uberf***y website.
She immediately re-shared the revelations with her 377,000 Instagram followers to dispel any speculation that she was on the dating site on her own.

Speaking to her after this week, Emma said of her stories: ‘I’m Uberf***y too’, adding two crying emojis to share her feelings on the matter.
Emma added: ‘What’s uberf***y? I don’t want to google.’
The dating site reportedly describes itself as a platform for ‘users to meet local singles’.
After seeing her profile reposts, more fans got in touch with their places of Emma online – including another on Tinder.

A fake Tinder page showed Emma with the correct name but aged 44 – 12 years older than she really is.
Displaying one of Emma’s glamorous pictures as the front of her profile, Emma reposted it on her Instagram stories as well.
She wrote ‘Name’ in a big green tick across the screenshot, with the word ‘age’ underneath – adding a big red cross and a laughing emoji.
Despite her frustration at having her profile faked online, Emma seems to have seized the moment and found humor in it.

But, unfortunately, she faced a lot of humiliating comments about her appearance from unknown users, and on one occasion she even called them names.

Writing alongside a picture of herself wearing a spectacular dress, Emma said: ‘Thank you to the vast majority of you who responded to this by calling a few misogynists and dinosaurs.
‘Unfortunately, it’s usually the people who shout the loudest.
‘I was hosting an awards ceremony and I felt amazing in my new dress, so I wanted to share it.’
Fellow sports presenter Laura Woods came to support her, commenting: ‘What some people don’t realize is…you’re allowed to be both!
‘You are smart and beautiful. One does not need and does not cancel the other.’
