Responsible for: Head of internal audit

HelpAge International is hiring for Risk and Compliance Business Partner, collaborate with teams and ensure that the organization successfully meets all compliance requirements, both donor and local legal requirements. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, the position holder will identify areas of potentially higher risk within the organization and work to develop a framework for their more complete assessment. He/she will play a key role in ensuring that the financial and other control procedures identified in the risk register are properly implemented, managed and used across offices, in emergency programs and by our operational partners.

It is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension, depending on the availability of funds and performance. The position holder will work as part of the Global Team, virtually, but will need to travel to “Ukraine” as soon as possible and therefore we are looking for someone with an existing right to travel to Europe/Ukraine. Applicants must hold a valid UK or European passport or a valid Schengen visa to enable HelpAge International to evacuate staff from Ukraine to neighboring countries if necessary.
