Stella McCartney has reportedly reignited her ‘feud’ with fellow fashion designer Victoria Beckham by commissioning Gigi and Bella Hadid to walk in her show – months after the former Spice Girl’s cast.
The supermodel sisters made a special catwalk appearance at Victoria’s first Paris Fashion Week show last September, which is thought to have fueled Stella’s competitive life.
A source told The Sun: ‘Stella doesn’t normally bother with big-name supermodels walking in her fashion shows because it can be extremely expensive.

‘But after seeing that Victoria had commissioned Gigi and Bella to appear in her first show at Paris Fashion Week in September, she booked them.
‘A few days later the pair were on the runway for Stella. Everyone found it very funny, and now it’s become a running joke in Stella’s office.’
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Victoria and Stella for comment.
It follows reports that Stella wasn’t too happy after one of her top stylists, Jane How, left her brand for a job at Victoria’s.

It was in June he claimed that Jane was the third person to join Victoria’s team.
A source told the publication: ‘To say there is some professional rivalry at the highest level is an understatement. Both are extremely successful thanks to hard work and talent.
‘They respect each other a lot. But there is a lot of tension in the workplace.
‘Stella feels that a lot of the A-list names she’s been wearing have left her for Victoria.

‘And everyone in her office is discussing the fact that Jane is no longer with Stella.’
The source added that their rivalry is ‘intense but exciting’ and that they don’t like the idea of being pitted against each other so try to enjoy the ‘healthy competition’.
In 2020, Victoria reportedly sparked a feud with Stella, after allegedly hiring her nanny and trying to hire a member of her fashion team.
According to The Sun, her alleged actions led to Stella disinviting the Beckhams from a family dinner – prompting Victoria to allegedly email her begging for forgiveness.

A source told the publication: ‘Victoria is distraught. She wants the best for her family, and she heard at the playground that Stella’s babysitter is one of the best in town. She got her number and made her a lucrative offer to jump ship.
‘When Stella found out, she went nuclear. This was blow number one. The final nail in the friendship coffin came when Victoria tried to hire Stella’s studio manager.
‘After that, an invitation to a family party that Stella and her husband Alasdhair Willis had arranged was withdrawn. Stella has a lot of friends in high places and obviously Victoria doesn’t want to become a pariah in the celebrity world.’

Victoria – who, like Stella, is a mother of four – is said to be particularly concerned about the friendship between her eight-year-old daughter Harper and Stella’s offspring Reiley, nine, which has been affected by the rainfall report.
In July 2017, it was reported that Victoria had lashed out at Stella and her family after she publicly shared a photo of her daughter Harper at Buckingham Palace.
Stella was said to be furious with Victoria and David for sharing a picture of their daughter Reiley posing with Harper and her school friends at a tea party hosted by Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York.
The fashion designer, who likes to keep her daughter out of the limelight, is reportedly ‘spitting feathers’ after the footage went viral, reports The Sun.
A source told Stella at the time: ‘She is particularly furious because she has an OBE and has nothing but respect for the royal family. She hoped that no one would notice that it was Reiley and explained the rules to her staff.’
Reiley and Harper first became friends after David hired Stella’s husband Alasdhair as a style consultant in 2010, following his move to the LA Galaxy soccer team.
It was all funny for Harper at the time of the July 2017 event, which happened in the days around her sixth birthday.
The little girl also dressed like royalty for the occasion – in a blue dress like her heroine Princess Elsa from the Disney hit Frozen.

Details of the supposedly ‘private’ tea party were shrouded in secrecy until David and Victoria decided to treat their tens of millions of Instagram followers to a series of photos to mark Harper’s birthday.
The ‘indiscreet’ release of the pictures – which show the young man enjoying running the royal residence – is said to have caused frustration at the palace.
One picture was taken by the former footballer in Andrew’s private office with Princess Eugenie, it is understood.
Eugenie, 29, who is eighth in line to the throne, could be seen kneeling with her arms around two of Harper’s five pals.

A third photo shows Harper alone, holding a red balloon in the central quadrangle of the palace, with the message from mother Victoria: ‘Our little birthday princess x kiss.’
Former footballer David also shared a snap of Harper posing with his mother Sandra as he uploaded pictures in honor of his youngest child’s birthday.
He wrote: ‘Last picture of the birthday girl… Just to be clear this wasn’t a palace opening for Harper’s birthday, this was a tea party that we and other guests were invited to so it was a lovely thing with my mum, Harper and a few school friends… We were honored [sic] be capable of [be] there…’
